Without availability of 64-bit apps, precious few users will bother to install 64-bit Windows. And without a large installed base of 64-bit Windows users, precious few developers are going to bother to release 64-bit apps. Your paragraph reads true if you remove the word Windows as well.

I cant install Vista on my computer with 4x1024mb Ram. I got bluescreens ! If i take out one of the memory, and run with 3x1024 all works fine, but, if i after the Vista installation is complete, put in the 4'th memory again, the Bluescreen is there. Your
biggest worry would be drivers for your hardware, and software-compatibility (64-bit drivers for dongles for instance). With 32-bit software, XP64 is slightly faster. You can use more memory, larger drives. The only real advantage will be when the software itself becomes 64-bit as well.
